I think I broke my own heart writing this story, to be perfectly honest.

Oh I can do better than scotch tape, especially for the artist who made me my fanmix. *hands over the duct tape* Thanks so much for your hard work on it too, it came out great and I think it's a great companion to the story.

I'm glad you enjoyed the bits that I added or changed.

I'm glad you liked what I did with the final version, I was starting to wonder if I'd ever be able to finish it but somehow, yeah it got done.

I'm glad you liked the line, it tickles me pink to see people quote back what they like and what sticks out for them. As I mentioned on twitter, I was back and forth on the line a little before deciding I liked it a lot, especially in the context that Tommy says it.

Oh man, this hurts so much. I was hoping Adam wasn't a son of Apollo, but really, could he have been anything else? My heart was breaking for Tommy :(

I found myself hoping Adam wasn't a son of Apollo but the idea of this story came from the fact that really, the best fit for both Tommy and Adam was to have Apollo as a father. Which sent my head into flailing and apparently needing to write this story filled with longing and angst.

Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the story I had to tell, even if it was a sad one.

Yeah, it does kind of hurt. I do have a sequel in mind though, with a happier ending, so stay tuned for that.

Aww, you're making me blush. I definitely didn't feel very brilliant while this story kind of kicked my ass but I'm glad you loved the story. I was aiming for ouchy but also satisfying, glad to hear it worked for you.
