Wow! I am totally impressed with your plans. Tanner is running a 26 mile marathon in July to raise money for an AIDS organization here in San Francisco and I think he has raised a couple of thousand dollars for that. Y'all are my heroes for sure. And double congratulations on your goal to quit smoking. That is so hard, but so awesome. I quit in January and haven't looked back, so I wish you the same kind of success. What fantastic goals to set up for yourself. My best wishes are with you for sure.

wow, you are so sweet! thanks for your encouraging words, i have been going back and forth on being deathly frightened or being excited by my goals, so your words definitely came on a good day. Good for you for quitting too, did you do it cold turkey or did you do something else?

I did it cold turkey...it is the only way I know how. I will officially consider myself a non-smoker at the six month mark...which is rapidly approaching! I truly do feel impressed with what you are doing...not only will you be raising money for a worthy cause, but you will be challenging yourself both mentally and physically and I just really respect that a lot.
