The Spider-Man 3 teaser is up.

Words cannot describe. I haven't been this excited for a movie since...um...Spider-Man 2.

I'm actually sort of a gibbering fanboy mess right now.

Want to watch it again.

So, think the third bad guy's gonna be Venom, or that they're yanking our chain?

I vote for "yanking our chain."

"Yanking our chain" yes, but towards Spidey 4.

Topher Grace is Eddie Brock.

We'll see beyond that.

To paraphrase Stephen Colbert...

"Great teaser or greatest teaser?"

On other geeky things...Have you been as happy with the last two weeks of ECW as I've been. This week's had three good matches (the main event was better than good). My only problems were Angle not beating RVD after that INTENSE promo he delivered and Edge sticking his horse face where it didn't belong and delivering an interview that sounded like something an angsty teenager would say, in fact, he basically quoted Cartman saying "I do what I want, whateva whateva."

I think it is both a great teaser and the greatest teaser ( ... )

I think it's the progress that's making me like it so much. Kelly does get too much air time (I don't think anyone in the show got three segments) but until the crowd starts turning on her (which they show no signs of doing), this can't be stopped. Once the crowd realizes that this is on TV and there's no way she's actually ever going to get naked, I suppose she'll have to find another line of work.

The Sandman segment worked for me just because that stripper was so ridiculous. Commentary highlight of the week was Joey Styles calling the guy "Corpulent".

I was also very impressed with the debut of Mike Knox, I figured it'd just be some sucky big guy with no charisma stuck with a hot girl to get him over, but this guy is actually talented, and from his little vignette, seemed much more charasmatic than his female counterpart.

And...I'm kind of excited for Test, I've seriously been a fan of the poor guy since that bastard HHH stole his bride.

My hope is that ECW and WWE will more or less part ways following Saturday Night's Main Event. It looks like (spoiler; highlight it to read if you don't know) RVD will drop the title there so that could give them some latitude, since Vince might be a little less controlling of a show that didn't have his wrestlers and his title on it.

I could, of course, be wrong. Actually, as long as Kelly doesn't get ten minutes a night we'll be OK. While I am certainly a fan of attractive young women in their underwear, there's an art and a context that it needs.
