Additional Layout

Jan 28, 2006 01:02

Because I was playing around in photoshop again, I made an Atlantis header, and decide to go ahead and make a color scheme to go with it.

What are your thoughts? Like it? Hate it??

I can't believe I'm changing the layout again.

I really do like it. I like that you included the stargate on Atlantis in the background. The colors on it are great. Since I don't know much about what goes into making something like this, I still think it looks wonderful.

I like the new layout! Love what you did with the header, and look, even McKay is in it. Where be Ronon though? ;) I adore that the gate was included as well.

Only thing I'm unsure of is the color scheme, namely because is see SGA having more of the blue tones and SG1 having more of the earthy tones. I like the scheme, but it seems more SG1 to me. Just a thought though, just feedback. :D

I found that incredibly large Gate pic in High Res. and had to mess with it. Hours of coding is the result!

Ronon was not in the closer more intimate cast pic, and that's the one that looked good with the Gate pic. So big guy got left out.

I KNEW you were gonna say that about the colors! BUT. The gate pic had NO blue in it but the stained glass, and it just didn't feel right. All of these colors come from the gate picture.

And I don't really see SG1 as just earthy tones. I see them as more of the red family actually. I don't know.

The header really came out warm, and pops off the page though...and i couldn't resist.

Now I've done a Component, Boxer, and Flexible Squares layout. Guess Opal is next! :)

OH. And I used the Dex icon on purpose. Thought you missed him.

I can see how messing with a graphic can lead to hours of coding, remember back to my vid site. :)

And I understand about the colors, I was just giving my opinion really.

Oh yes, I missed the brick wall Ronon. :D

Oh yea. I remember all the versions of your vid site! LOL

I know you were giving your opinion, and you know that's always appreciated. I just felt like I didn't have a choice on this one. Plus. It's very easy on the eyes this scheme.

Here's another brick wall for ya. :-D

it looks awesome Wav! I also think you could use some of the same color that is in the blouse that the woman to the right is wearing. It looks maroon like I think. I love both colors!
