Hi, I'm doing a small promotion for one of my communities, farscape_lims and I noticed you seem to be a fan of the show so I thought it might interest you. LIMS is for Last Icon Maker Standing and the community works a little like the show Survivor with weekly challenges and votes. At the end of the week people have to vote for an icon (or more than one) of lesser quality (smoothness, cropping, use of brush, sharpness,...). This goes on until we have only one icon maker left standing and then, after that everyone movies on to the next round. This is a community open to everyone fan or not of the show Farscape with any skills at icon making. I haven't thought of a "prize" or anything like that for the winner but banners come to mind and stuff for the time being.

If you're interested just go over the info page of farscape_lims and take a look around. You can also just be a watcher and vote for the first round and decide later if you want to be a participant or not. Right now I'm looking for about 10 more participants so Challenge 1 is still a bit far from ( ... )

Sorry i haven't popped by a lot. It's been crazy busy around here! (with a possible chance of my moving to California within a year! I'm not sure if i should be excited or scared? thats a big move...so far away...)

I'm not snagging any (yet) i'm going to come back when i have my free time to update my own journal and snag a few good ones to use, great work!

California...huh? I know it would be scary for me. I've always wanted to see SanFrancisco though. Seems more peaceful then other areas of California.

Thanks about the icons. A little more boring than usual. but I couldn't get myself to put text on them, because I loved the coloring so much!
