ive been sitting here for some time trying to think of how to word what i wanna say and i cant on some of it but..without the good and bad things in life there would be no compassion
( ... )
Okay, I really believe in God too. As a being, not just a feeling. But God also is a feeling. And what that feeling is to some people may be different for others. And saying that God is "just a feeling" is not wrong. Who knows what God is? Who knows if He is a He, She, It, Spirit, Child, Feeling, Emotion...how can anyone say for sure? Yes, the Bible does say that God is a He, but who was the Bible written by? Humans. And I'm not saying that the Bible is wrong, because I believe that the Bible is a helpful guide to living life. But just because Brandon sees God as a feeling or thought or whatever and you see Him as a person or a being doesn't mean that he's wrong. It doesn't mean that you're wrong either. God is what He is, just like the Bible says...God called himself "I am". He left it up to you to interpret just what He is, whether you choose to accept Him or not. No one is "wrong" in how they interpret Him. For me, I'm still trying to figure out exactly what He is, but I think that that is for the best.
"God said to Moses, 'I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: "I AM has sent me to you."...I found a really interesting site on this I AM stuff... http://www.faithepc.org/docs/sermons/2001/20010225.htm
