Winding down, wrapping up

As the other side of the world is fighting for parking spots in the last shopping days before the big day, I'm wrestling with luggage. More precisely, juggling treasures from suitcase, to suitcase, to carry-on bags, making sure everything is within the weight and size limits allowed by Luftansa. the heart gifts are priceless, weightless and cannot be damaged or lost by negligent luggage handlers.

I think you may be underestimating the power of negligent luggage handlers. Hope not.

Sounds like a wonderful trip... we'll be off in Haliburton when you get back, but with luck and Canada Post (staffed by those who were fired for being too negligent luggage handlers, I suspect) there'll be a calendar waiting to console you.

I was off in a games store yesterday buying a certificate for Sam, and got to talking with the man behind the counter about India, which he was from. When he learned I'd been there, my stock clearly went way up... but it's time for another trip, I suspect.
