You know those times when something totally unexpected but wonderful happens?
This is one of those times.

It's now illegal to put people to death for crimes they committed when they were under 18 in the U.S. One of the greatest inconsistencies in the United States Justice System is somewhat fixed. I am happy. Leave a comment

I'm not completely opposed to the death penalty, but I don't favor it in most cases, I think it's a very weighty issue that the country has been a bit too lenient with, and there's a lot of holes in it that don't really seem logical.

So this is good.

The issue was that it was legal to put someone to death if they committed murder when they were 15.
The whole being tried as an adult and punished as an adult when you have no rights that an adult has.
