I am glad you like the chocolates! Also, very glad that you are out of the infirmary (and can roam in search of bakeries).

Major Hijikata is sick? [significant pause] I wish I had gotten in touch with him when I heard about Commander Edgeworth's supposed suicide.

Myself, I've been a little sad. I keep busy, though. There is so much to do on a new ship. And so many adventures!

Commander Edgeworth's...? I hadn't heard about that - though he seemed fine when I saw him at the banquet last week.

And yes, though don't feel too sorry for him - I'm fairly certain he brought most of this on himself.

Adjusting to a new place can be hard, sometimes. I'm glad you're keeping busy, though, it'll help. Keeping up with your training too, I trust?

It was a couple of months ago. It hit the newspapers briefly. There was a suicide note but it was, ah, unsubstantiated. The officials decided pretty quickly to sink the report into oblivion, and well, now he's back. I have no idea what happened.

[folds arms] If everybody who brings it on himself has to take responsibility for his own sufferings... [he is laughing] ...what a harsh world!

Yes, a new place. I am keeping up with my training, never fear. I have got a whole bunch of new sparring partners, too!

Is the Amestris remaining in port much longer, do you suppose?

Yes, given the...situation here, I suspect we won't be leaving Solare any time soon. I'm glad to here you're keeping up with your sword-work, though - and that you've found some new partners, too.
