Sorry for being MIA so long...

Firstly, Brian came to visit.

We went to Disneyland.

Where Mark and I wore silly purple glasses, till I got mine confiscated.

Which is okay, the bug ones are better.

Then we went to the beach.

And I look naked.

And they look cold.

We made fudge.

And play-dough.

And tried on fluffy jackets in Nautica on the way to the Long Beach airport.

I drove Mark's corvette. Or rather, mark's DAD's corvette, though i'm sure he wouldn't mind if i left that off. I drove it right to the bottom of Xander's driveway, just so i could watch him be jealous. (Over which? Mark or the fact that i drove? Hrm...)

Oli hung out under the christmas tree lots.

We couldn't put any presents or the tree skirt there, or he'd eat them.

We went to the navy ball the day after Christmas, where i got in trouble for attempting to put my own napkin in my lap, and my belief that neither Xander nor I can dance very well was confirmed. And also the belief that Xander and his friends are nutcases.

On new years, i had a secret spy mission to go on. I sang the mission impossible song as i crept up to the front porch (and by crept i mean "danced around like a moron"), and forgot to ring the doorbell, and she recognized the writing anyway. Oops.

I forget the rest of new years. Xander has those pictures on his camera. I remember lots of fun with confetti, and funny green juice.

One day, we went out for pizza for lunch. My boy is so talented, two sodas at once.

One day, we went to Mojo's coffee shop (Xander was hoping to see Miss Marisa there), and Karen made dirty phrases out of the magnetic poetry.

I got flowers of my own! (no mission impossible theme was sung to me though...i had my choice of various other crazy songs, however.)

I took cheesy car pictures.

And cheesy beach pictures.

And then he left.

But I'm okay this time. Why? I called Maryland again this morning, and after much transfering of phone calls, i found out i got in.

Now I just wait for mommy to come home.
