My word of advice re the zoo--get there early (as in before 1000), that way you can see the Pandas while they are still awake and playing. I went with my nephew on New Year's Eve, and we got there around 1030 and they were sound asleep. They feed them around 1000, just fyi. Also, on the Metro, get off the Red Line (you will have to transfer from the Orange or Green Lines, since I assume you will board at either New Carrollton or UMD) at Woodley Park/Zoo, cross the street and go to your left when you exit the Metro. It's not a bad walk, a little uphill but a nicer neighborhood than the Cleveland Park stop. OK I know WAAAAAY too much about the DC Metro ;) If you ever want a tour guide for the day let me know, I am always happy to do the DC tourist thing...
Ok back to packing...tackling the kitchen now...woo hoo

Actually on the way home this afternoon I saw an ad on the Metro for the International Spy Museum...I still have not made it there and I was going to ask if you wanted to go with me sometime. And I have never seen the Jefferson Memorial up close either...and I absolutely LOVE all the museums and monuments and can see them a billion times and never get tired of them... So yeah we definitely have to find a day this Spring to go!!!
