[Shortly after, Motochika comes to find Mitsuhide, a blue kimono folded over his arm.]

[Mitsuhide glances up when he hears Motochika approach; his SFC is at his side, and he has just picked up a book.]

Lord Motochika.

[The samurai bows his head in greeting, before shifing his gaze to the kimono on Motochika's arm.]

You have new clothing?

Yes.

[Motochika stops in front of Mitsuhide, and inclines his chin; he smiles, confident.]

For you.

[Mitushide puts the book back down again for a moment.]

For me.

[He sighs, and shakes his head. Why does Motochika seem so opposed to his lovely yellow kimono?]

Thank you. I shall wear it tomorrow.

Why wait?

[Motochika is clearly not deterred.]

There is no need to change right now.

[Mitsuhide rests a hand on his desk.]

[Motochika is predictably blunt in his reply.]

You should reconsider.

[Mitsuhide sighs again, and stands up. He folds his arms and gives Motochika a confused look.]

I don't understand why you are being so insistent, my Lord. I've worn similiar shades beforehand without comment from you.

No. You have not.

[He holds up the kimono.]

Blue truly suits you.

[As far as Mitsuhide is concerned, Motochika is acting very oddly. It occurs to him that this must be a curse. It's not entirely unexpected, after his tattoo glowed brightly earlier.]

[The brief period without them was always destined to end.]

This suits me as well.

[He looks down at his clothing. As pointless as he believes changing is, it's not worth arguing over.]

But if it will please you, then... fine. I will change.

[Motochika touches Mitsuhide's cheek with his free hand, for a brief moment.]

Excellent.

[He drapes the blue kimono over a shoulder for the time being, and smooths his hands along the collar of the canary yellow kimono Mitsuhide wears.]

[Mitsuhide drops his own hands to remove the obi keeping his outer kimono in place; it falls open, exposing the white layer of cloth beneath.]

[He pauses then.]

I still don't see why you are so opposed to this colour.

[behisstrength]

You will in time.

[Motochika slides his fingers beneath the outer kimono, takes hold of the edges, and begins to draw it off.]

[Mitsuhide doesn't believe that right now, and that disbelief shows in his expresion for a moment before it shifts into a softer, slightly shy one.]

You don't need to help me out of the offending kimono, you know.

[behisstrength]

[A faint smirk touches his lips.]

You're right.

[wavesoakedlegs]

[Mitsuhide laughs quietly.]

Yet you are doing so regardless.

[He shifts, and slides his arms partially out of the kimono.]

Am I to dress myself, or will you choose to do that as well?
