[ Ta-da! Gracia is currently a Red Mage; looking not too far from how she would usually look with the only difference being a large red hat with a white feather sticking out on top gracing her head, instead of her usual feathered headbands. Her stats are at LV. 10, 80% health and 50% mana with the full three lives remaining. Daddy's not the only one who tried out her skills ~ She plays with her cape as she responds to his post. ]

This is such an exciting curse, father! Not only do we get to see ourselves in such strange yet cute outfits, we have these bars on top of our heads that tell us how much energy we have left, and we have different abilities! It really is like a game! The most detailed game I've ever played! I wish we had games like this back home...

[ She places her hands on her hips and speaks fast. She's quite ready to face the rest of the cursed city now! ]

My outfit cannot really be said to be strange... it's the same as my usual armour, save for this helmet.

[He taps the the crest on the front of it. Mitsuhide has not worn a helmet in years and finds it a little uncomfortable, but it's a curse. What can you do?]

Yours is not really strange either, my girl. It's not too far from what you wear normally, except for the hat. Perhaps part of this game is the players wearing unusual headwear?

[A laugh, and then a brief, curious sound.]

I do not know yet. We ought to ask Lord Motochika first, and see what he thinks as well. But we should not aim for any of the 'higher level quests' yet, I know that much.

I'm not used to your silky hair being covered like that. Oh, but father! Have you seen the other people around the city? They have such unique clothes now! Even more so than before! [ Gracia tilts the top of her hat. ]

Unusual headwear? If Motochika has a helmet or hat too, then maybe that is part of the curse. It's so hard to see wearing this. [ Another tilt of her hat - it's like it's deliberately trying to cover her eyes! ]

Will we be able to take those higher level quests before this curse is over?

I have indeed; when I went to the forest I was not the only one trying out my new skills on the creatures there.

[Mitsuhide nods, though slowly.]

Well, taking into account what I have been told... yes, but only if we train against the various 'enemies' in the city and 'raise our levels' up. Level ten and level twelve are far from enough.

[Motochika is totally smirking at that username; he is perhaps more covered up than usual, though his trousers remain form-fitting. His shamisen is not his normal one, either. For now he lacks the floating headpiece. His own username is in clear view.]

My own abilities are... remarkable. I suspect that I'm able to affect others as well as myself, though I am yet to truly test my theory.

[There's clear intent in his expression and tone.]

[Mitsuhide's gaze flickers to Motochika's username. He looks both pleased and a little awkward at the sight of it, knowing full well what it refers to.]

Many people seem confused at what their titles mean, but ours truly are both clear and accurate.

[His eyes slide shut for a moment.]

Time and time again, I am reminded of the incredible power this place holds; it can see into our hearts and gaze into out pasts, change the innate powers we possess or strip them away, give us new ones and breathe life into the dead. Sometimes I think there is little it cannot do.

[Those eyes open again.]

I guess it is not something to dwell on, for now. When would you like to try out your abilities on me?
