Quite surprising, seeing the locals as they are. I'd thought I was used to this sort of thing.

I can't help but wonder what else is in store...

To say the least. I was rather horrified upon seeing them... but then one spoke to me as if everything was normal!

One can never say. These curses seem to have a mind of their own... and quite a lot of power if it can change ourselves and our surroundings at least.

[He's felt rather uneasy to say the least, and that makes him feel even more so... but he shrugs it off. For now. Sort of.]

Well, for the moment I shall do as I said and make the best of it. These clothes are very unusual, but they are quite lovely.

They are beautiful, aren't they? Not all seem to be as elaborate as mine, but most remain lovely to look upon.

[Guess who calls out as he jogs over from nearby dressed like this? He puts his SFC away in his leather satchel, and holds out a toffee apple with his other hand. His eyes are sharp, the only indication of his disconcertment. He looks Mitsuhide over with interest.]

I would not have recognised you, at first glance. [Well, that was not entirely accurate, different as this look was.] Almost.

I would not say you are an actual bat, Lord Motochika. I see no wings. So... no. You don't count.

[A short laugh as he accepts the toffee apple. His gaze sweeps over Motochika's outfit briefly.]

It certainly is very different, isn't it? The clothes are very beautiful, however.

[The locals; yes, they had given him quite a shock. Then he'd held a normal conversation with one. That had been strange, to say the least.]

Yes. 'Halloween.' Miss Rena told me a little about it.

[He thinks for a moment.]

She mentioned that people dress in unusual costumes, give sweet things to children, carve pumpkins and decorate places so that they appear to be haunted.

This is rather strange, I thought that the curses were going to be a little more... controlling.

I think the mask is rather becoming actually.

Some are... and then you get the ones like this. The curses vary greatly.

They're altogether Operatic, aren't they? I think they're rather fetching but I have a feeling that the majority of people here will not agree with me...

Maybe not, especially considering the frustration the city shall feel over this curse, but I do. Certainly not the kind of thing I would usually wear, but I can appreciate something attractive when I see it. The craftsmanship that must have gone into some of these masks... it is something to appreciate.
