[He'd obviously meant to make a voice post instead; there is no way Mitsuhide would ever delibrately make a video post looking quite so tired and unkempt. The samurai is lying down on his bed, long hair partially obscuring his face. He has set the SFC down next to him.]The mood that last curse put me in was wonderful, but... nevertheless, I find

Father? What's wrong? Are you sick?
Reply
This should not qualify as 'sick,' my girl. I am hungover, thanks to the last curse.

Hungover? [Her eyebrows creased.] You were drinking? [She didn't mean to elevate her voice, but she started to wonder where the alcohol came from.]

[He sighs and closes his eyes again.]
I felt... happy. Incredibly happy. I do not think that happiness was all down to the drunken state, and it was good to feel it, but the foolish way I act when drunk... I would not wish a repitition of this curse.

You were so graceful when you danced, though. [She gazed over his form and caressed the sheets by her knees.] It was fun seeing you that happy. I don't get to see that very often. [And she speaks the truth. Perhaps that curse was, once again, a mixed bag?]
Father, I'll help you get better today! [She claps her hands together.] And I know just what you need! I'll be right back!

While the water was boiling, I went out and got you these. [She motioned to the bowl, placed quietly beside him.] Mago said that the tea and the fruits help him get better when he wakes up feeling bad. Sleep helps too, so just relax and try to get some rest.
[Gracia sits back down and hands him the tea with care and a smile.]

You are too kind, my girl...
[He looks at the fruit for a moment and... yeah, his face shows the slight nausea the sight of food causes at the moment.]
...but I do not think I could manage to eat yet. It would likely not stay down. The tea, however... yes. It will do me good.
[He sniffs at the tea for a moment before taking a small sip and sighing in appreciation.]

Oh, I know what else will help you! Here, give me your hand! [She placed the bowl back down and motioned towards his wrist.]

Oh?
[Curious, he extends his hand to her.]

Whenever I had headaches, my caretakers would do this before I went to bed. It helped a lot, so I'll do the same to you. You can go back to reading, if you want!

[It brings back a warm memory of his long-dead mother. Sadly, only a handful of memories of her remain clear to him; more than anything he remembers sitting with her and clinging to the ends of her hair, as a kind of comfort. This memory that Gracia has brought to mind is not one he has thought of for a very long time.]
When I was a young boy, my Mother would do this as well. You could not ask me if it worked or not, because that I do not remember.
[A smile, which fades into a slightly pained expression.]
I do not think I will continue to read right now. We shall just see how well this works, Gracia.

Tell me if it doesn't feel good, so I'll know when to stop. [Her massages were somehow well-practiced; Magoichi, on more than one or two occasions, underwent a far worse morning than her father was currently suffering. There was acupuncture and there were teas, but when they couldn't afford that kind of medicine during their travels, Gracia would volunteer this method and it would ease him enough to lull him to sleep. He'd wake up feeling refreshed and ready to travel once more. Gracia did her best to ( ... )
