[Mitsuhide is a lot more colourful than usual; his kimono certainly not traditional at all, being a very vivid purple. The layers underneath it, seen poking out of the top, are heavily patterned and there are different shades of purple streaked through his hair

He stops directly in front of Mitsuhide, demanding Mitsuhide's full attention merely by presence.]
You overcame Nobunaga once, with my support. We shall do the same for his ghost image.

If this vision of yours desires to play the role of Nobunaga, then so be it.
[Done, he places aside the pencils, then moves round to stand at Mitsuhide's back. He places his empty hand upon the curve of Mitsuhide's shoulder, reestablishing contact and returning the sight of his friend's ghosts, then and leans in to peer over, essentially seeing what Mitsuhide sees. Perspective is important to make the right impact.]
Close your eyes.
[Motochika then brings the pad round in front of them both, and lines it up with the vision of Nobunaga, so that only his head is visible above the edge of the page.]
You may look.
[What is drawn is no more than an extremely awful outfit, worn on a headless body; the distance between them and the vision of Nobunaga means that from where they stand, his head appears to fit on the sketch.] I have heard stories of a time when Nobunaga was simply the Fool of Owari. [What comes out is a costume which largely resembles a humanised form of a rubber duck...]
I... I have no idea where that came from...

Excellent, Mitsuhide!
[Once the amusement has faded down, he softly squeezes Mitsuhide's shoulder and resolute, says;]
We will start a new round each time these visions begin to unsettle you. You shall make it through this curse.
[He moves back to Mitsuhide's side and admires his friend's work once more.] For now... this contest is well and truly underway.
