[Mitsuhide seems calm. A little sleepy as well, perhaps, and there is a small smile on his face. The SFC is placed on the surface in front of him, so that he polish his katana whilst making the post.]
[His first statement is simply:]
I am lucky to be here.
[A pause, and he moves on, frowning briefly.]The city seems to be a little... well, quiet

[He turns the SFC off. Even though he has plenty of time, he still arrives at the Lamufao early.]

[Nodding to himself absentmindedly again, he places the first one back in the box. It's alright, but he's just not feeling it...]

[Mitsuhide watches, observing carefully.]
Take a look at what they have, think carefully... and if you find one you like for the moment, we don't have to move on. Otherwise, we shall go to the other place.

[Carefully, he places the other blade inside its box and takes a step back.]
I'll keep all this stuff in mind, but I want to see that other place too.

[He looks pleased, actually. Considering all your options is wise.]
I believe the shopkeeper in the Gem Exchange, the place I was referring to, put aside weapons containing the power of the fire element and the wind element for you to examine. I cannot deny that they are fitting, all things considered.

You might wish to take a basic pair from here regardless, even if it is not the weapon you settle on to use in general. Doing as such is always wise, especially when you are learning.

[Making sure the lid's secure, he picks up the box with the basic set.]
What would I have to do to, um, harness those powers? Is it a concentration thing?

[A short laugh.]
The first time I attempted to use a lightning-based weapon was something of a failure. It did not come particularly easy to me at first, but I got there in the end.

Then if I get one, I'll definitely try hard to do the same.
[As he moves towards the exit, he asks another question; he's just full of 'em today.]
What do elements feel like?
Reply
Each is different. It's hard to explain, but I shall try.
[A moment of thought.]
Fire is like a pleasant but powerful warmth at the tips of your fingers, ice like the feeling you get when you hold snow in your hand. Lightning is a pleasant tingle of energy coursing up you arm; that is the one I am most familiar one.
I have not handled wind or dark element weapons much before, so I could not describe those very well.

[He's looking around now, trying to see if he can guess which store is the correct one.]
I've kinda heard of darkness as a fairytale kind of thing back home, but I guess it exists in your world too, huh?
Reply
Well... it's hard to explain. It is the most powerful element one can get sealed into a weapon in my world, and it affects the enemy by draining their life force away. You can see it working through the shadows that cling to your weapon when you use it.
[A nod.]
I suppose so. The dark element in our world, I... never felt all that comfortable using it, hence my lack of experience using it.

That's what the fairytales said, anyway.
[He forgets about the old bedtime story the second he steps inside the Jewel Exchange and stares in awe at all the different weapons. It's still a sight he's not used to seeing, and with what he's learned, he knows that some of these are especially special.]

[He blinks, curious, and would have asked further questions had he not noticed the awe on Lea's face. A smile, a chuckle, and Mitsuhide steps in further.]
Works of art, aren't they? Most weapons here are well-made, well-balanced creations... and not a one would look out of place in the hands of a warrior in my home.
[The entire shop is like a piece of Japan. He takes a moment to savour being within it, as he always does.]

[He's practically glowing with excitement.]
I wish the locals would share how they could get in touch with other worlds. It would be so awesome to go and visit other places instead of just being stuck home.

[He glances over at Lea.]
That would be an experience, wouldn't it? Travelling the other worlds, living with the wind at your back... I saw only the briefest taste of that when I was a ronin, long ago.
[And he never would have chosen that lifestyle back then, because of his moral obligations. His duty to protect the innocents of his land. Now he cannot do that, and such a life... were it possible, he would take it, provided it was not taken alone.]
Well... shall we take a look and see what the shopkeeper has kept for you?
Reply
[Wait, no, questions later. He nods his head enthusiastically. ]
Yeah!
[He's already heading towards the counter, eyes shining.]
