i find myself back in the same goddamned situation i was in 4 years ago; i have to be around the guy who dumped me and hold it together like nothing's wrong or changed. i don't believe, at some level, that this is a permanent breakup, but he seems pretty resolute that he feels absolutely nothing romantic toward me. he also feels pretty confident
