As your roomate and friend, I highly suggest you don't quit college... but, then again, I honestly cannot say what you should do with your life... We've all gotta live our own ways, figure out what is right and what works for ourselves. If you wanna talk about it all, I'm just a living room away... come see me. Either that or we can chat about it over lunch. I'm here for ya. Lord knows you've survived my emo bitching more than once (not saying you're eno bitching, I'm just saying an-eye-for-an-eye, kinda... I'm here for you now, because you were here for me previously)...
You selfish bastard. That's all I got to say. Seriously. You're my friend and that'll make me sad! Besides who'll hang out with me when I get drunk by myself for some dumb reason or another?
I'm not gonna tell what to or not to do... But, I will tell you that I'll miss you. Even though I'm seriously convinced that you hate me, I love hanging out with you. I'd be sad. I might even shed a tear or two. Don't leave!
go where the wind takes you, ya know? i'm with ben, i don't suggest quitting college, maybe going to macomb and taking it easy would help. who knows. if you want so badly from your parents, why stay at home for a month or two? i'd say try to get out of there as soon as possible if conditions are so bad. because goodness knows, they're only going to get worse if you quit school and come home. if you need any help, in any way, i'm here for you, in any way i can be. i support any decision you make, but just take time and really think it through before you take any really big steps. because it is all very drastic. life will be so much different on your own. also, if you need a place to stay for a couple of nights, ever, i have one. you're always welcome. anyhow, take care. and try to live happier. i know sometimes it's hard.
I've learned something about most people who go away to college like you have. Many many of them become depressed. This is probably due to the feeling of seclusion, the lack of company who actually care about others, and the strong emphasis on school and nothing but. Even if this is completely off, I don't recommend dorming to anyone anymore.
Coming home next semester, working full time, and taking night classes at Macomb [because it's cheap and easily transfered many places] sounds like a good idea for you, in my opinion. This way you're making and saving much more money [by residing at home and going to a cheaper school], you're out of the house most of the time working and going to school [so you won't be dealing with your parents, if that's a problem you're facing], and you'll be on a much faster road to moving out.

That's what I think.
