yes!!!!!! I did get Sirius/McGonagall for Christmas... (along with Sirius/Sirius' right hand and maybe some kind of James voyeurism action?).

It's awesome!

How goes it with you? Are you enjoying your non-school-centered time? I know I am....

Non-school-centred time will start tomorrow, yay! Till then, I still have final grades to calculate and enter into the Computer System From Hell. :) Sirius/McG porn was a nice distraction from it!

1- excited squee, indeed! It was really quite fun to help ol' Severus do his holiday cards. Hehe.

2- That fic was so much fun! I love cross-generational het. And wanking stories. And humorous smut. And dirty talk. And really, I just love well-written porny HP fanfic. Clearly, I am living in the right world.

3- I don't know what I'd do without coffee. I have seriously cut down on my consumption to prepare for baby-making (which is such slow going, by the way).... I'm sorry that you can't enjoy it ( ... )

1 - ::squee::

2 - I really enjoyed that!
"How many goals did I score?"
Sirius sighed. "All of them, Prongs."
"Cool. Go on." I loved James' characterization!
I've run out of good fics to read, and I've actually started re-reading a few out of desperation! Do you have any good recs?

3 - I have to agree with you on the coffee thing... I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to function properly without it.

5 - I'm finally home for winter break! I've definitely been enjoying myself :-) It's nice not to have homework, speeches, papers, and roommates to worry about! Although my mother just finished HBP and wasn't at all happy about it. We had quite the argument over theories, but all is well. We all have our opinions.

1- yes, and I got your card! It's awesome. It's sitting up on my desk, right now. Yours is definitely already on its way!

2- recommendations? anything, anything at all by silentauror. She's does some of the best Harry/Draco out there. You can find links to her archives at her LJ user info page. I think there have been some really good one-shot gift fics at the smutty_claus community (those are het stories, mostly).
What kinds of things do you like to read? Is HP your primary fandom?

5- Happy Winter Break!!!!!!!

HP is my main fandom. I prefer angst and romance, although if someone can pull off a comedy well, I'll read that. Of course smut is always a plus ;-)

I've been enjoying some of the fics on r_becca's list of Harry/Ginny recommendations, found here. I don't think H/G is your usual pairing, but there are some good fics on there.

You should also read Pariah by maegunnbatt. It's a Ron/Pansy WIP -- witty and clever and featuring a totally lust-worthy Ron, snarky Pansy, and an awesome and hilarious supporting cast.

The only other fandom I dabble in at the moment is Veronica Mars, in which you could certainly find smut to your liking. If you're interested, I'd suggest checking out fic_from_mars.

Happy reading!

Mary,

Thank you so much for the postcard! Or perhaps I should ask you to thank Molly Weasley for me...Can I send you an east coast postcard?

I just received Anansi Boys from a friend and it's right on top of my reading list!

Molly says that "you're welcome, of course, dearie."

I would love a postcard from you. Where should I email my address?
