a short list:

1- I wrote some fic! Time to Go, Pike/Jim Kirk pre-slash, ST Reboot, PG13: So Kirk rescues Pike from rehab? That's what he thought, anyway...

2- SPN 5.01 YIKES! Loved it.

3- Fall Semester. Not bad... not bad at all. Have already dropped one student for sexist disruptive behavior... but other than that, I'm pleased with how things are ( Read more... )

OMFG, scorpions, Anne. I HATE THEM. But I do love this house -- it just comes with territorial scorpions. Fucking scorpions.

You sweep the light across the back wall, sidewalks, grass, trees, etc, and these fantastically surreal florescent scorpions light up. You can't miss them. Then you take your grill brush and you smash the hell out of them. It's sort of like a video game.

YIKES! And you say that so casually! I have zero teaching complaints compared to something like that. Can you really deny them access to the course? That's good, at least. ♥

Believe me, I was so stressed out about this student that I actually made myself ill (briefly, but still!).

Yes, no student has the Absolute Right to attend class if he/she is disruptive. So, you've generally got to prove it (memos, meetings, etc), but then you can kick out Disruptive Student.

This student was so bad that if I merely listed the most egregious items, the list would still get too long too fast.
