Heh, I don't think I got really twitchy until I started visiting schools. But then, I only took one year, so I was still enjoying my freedom at that point. Still, I remember the feeling of still having to do my stupid job, with its lab work that you could probably train a bright high schooler to do, when all I really wanted to do was find apartments in Madison, and daydream about the group I was going to join and the hot fellow grad student I would seduce...
