inside the armoire (from england), it has a space on the left for hanging clothes, and on the right there are three shelves, labeled "shirts," "sundries," and "pyjamas." (i had a new set of 100% silk pajamas sitting on the respective shelf when i surprised the love of my life with the armoire.) :)
