I know this will come across as petty, but it has everything to do with the creation date. I know if I look at a profile of someone who is obviously pretty active on there and whose picture I recognize, and their profile was created April 3, 2007, I'm not really convinced that she's really open to pursuing anything serious with anyone, so I'm that much less likely to respond/reply.

Plus I had to write up a whole new profile anyway since I'd deleted the other one, so why not a new name too.

Not like these sites have ever really lead to anything, but I'm a shy one in person, so you work with what you got.............
