Having a nice day.

Disturbances frazzle in to remind me
the clear blue sky is a dome of nothingness that will reverbate
with supersonic changes all too quickly
of what I don't understand, where there, sarcasm is a rough plum
and I have gagged enough.

Still, I won't just have a nice day, it is not given, I make it so

I like this a lot. I'm not sure if leaving the first line in the fourth stanza was intentional or not, but it is a nice touch considering the subject matter of that stanza.

Thanks-- I'll post a rewrite in my LJ later on... time was limited, but I think this one deserves* a reworking off a hard copy. Maybe if I feel like staying up late tonight. Wish I had a skylight in an office or any room in my house-- there are a kajillion stars out tonight!!

deserves* - that's roma-lese for "needs badly 'cause it's hurtin'!"
