The cool thing about gas stoves (one of the cool things, anyway) is that if the power goes off? YOU CAN STILL COOK. Pretty nifty, that.

Yes!--which is immediately useful since the electrical plug for the new stove does not fit in the outlet for the old stove, and the electrician hasn't come yet.
