My favorite client--about my age, long history of depression, childhood abuse, PTSD, smart, funny, a good person, though she can't see it--called today and told me that the doctors think she has liver cancer. Thanks for your hopeful words.

Good news--a happy surprise: A biopsy says the growth taking over her liver is NOT cancer, and they're planning more tests to figure out what's wrong.

Gah, that's terrible. I'm so sorry. It really is mind-boggling the way so much struggle and pain can befall a single innocent person. :(

Good news--a happy surprise: A biopsy says the growth taking over her liver is NOT cancer, and they're planning more tests to figure out what's wrong. Her doc said she had the liver function of a crack head, but at least the Liver Cancer Doomsday prognosis is ruled out.

Hey, that's fantastic news! Hopefully the upward trend will continue and the doctors will figure out exactly what's wrong AND be able to fix it successfully. *crosses fingers*
