If you have to pay it to her I vote you pay it all in quarters. Loose quarters, not that nicely rolled stuff. But get a recipt first. :)

It will be paid, but no where does it state that I have to tell her when or how.

Let me modify my last statement. It tells me when I have to make the payment by but not when in that time frame I have to do so.

I love that you just direct her to talk to the attorney - that has to infuriate her. OBVIOUSLY shes using this money for your daughter and thats why she needs it right now. I'm sure its ALL going to her.
Sigh.

Geeze. Couldn't she just say that she's short on cash, and she'd appreciate all or some of the money early if you can manage it?

Man she's a piece of work. I wouldn't give her the money until it's due. If it needs to be there by the 18th. Give it to her on the 18th. You don't have to give it to her early.

The only exception would be if she needed it to buy Katie back to school supplies. Then I'd say go ahead and give it to her so Katie will be ready to go back to school!! :)

So what happens if you quit your job and don't work legally? Like under the table?
