Waaaaah! I am almost envious of my friends in the Seattle area. They have snow up there. Lots of it. Here in Portland, at least all along the route between my home and my work, there's nothing at all except little isolated bits stuck to vegetation and well-insulated surfaces. Yeah, apparently reports vary from place to place. I saw Brian's photolog of his journey into work, but also saw Rob's car rather well decked out in a thick blanket of snow.

Here in Portland, we've had a cold day with no further precipitation. We're still at 'tease level' for snow. So I must still envy y'all...

I am amused by the fact that you have just the perfect icon for your comment.

Hope you had a nice snow day. Me, I had a regular working day. But now I expect a wonderful three-day weekend. Too bad I won't be heading north into the snow. Nor east to the mountains, even though they're much closer. Alas, I must prepare for my daughter's imminent birthday party. You'll learn more about those preparations in an upcoming post.

I went hunting for those in December :>.

And thank you, we had a lovely one ;>. Tobagganing and eating snow and stomping in fluffy snow piles in addition to some reading in front of the Picture Windows in the Living Room and a little tv watching to round it all out.

The Birthday party sounds like fun. Can't wait to read it ;>.
