I spent part of the day making birth announcments for jeannie and christmas cards for robyn in photoshop.... WAY more fun!

I've wanted to quit my job more than once, and my dad always tells me to wait two weeks. If in two weeks you still hate your job enough to want to quit, do it, but stick it out for two weeks. I'm glad I took his advice, because I'm still working there and I really like my job. :)

Keep your head up, babe. Maybe demand some days off so you can go for a nice mini road trip or hiking or something fun and relaxing, yeah?

Oh I wish I had only hated it for two weeks...but i have been looking for a new job for 5 months now. Bah! ha But its not always bad here...I just have something so great on the horizon that its hard to sit here and wait for it to happen. And to not know for sure if it will happen...its just hard. But things that are hard only make things that are great that much better. right? :)

I am taking Friday and Monday off to go see my sister for 4 days! I am super excited about that. :)

You are on the road to something better. It's so damn true. Any news from the Denver job? If not, there's something better out there for sure. Maybe even a whole sector change. You could be ANYTHING. Not just a Landscape Architect. You could also do some design work, work in a gallery, or schlep paint at Home Depot. Always remember that there are always options. And you CAN quit, you know. You can. And you can find something else. It happens! :D

I have heard some news from the Denver job...its not out of reach yet, still hanging in there..it just takes time I guess. :) So hopefully that will pan out soon.
