I just watched Covert Affairs, the new USA show with Piper Perabo. I really liked it. And, while it does have its own voice I think I agree with a friend of mine in that it's not very original. Then again, everything is derivative of everything now. The weird thing is, and maybe it's just me, put Piper's voice reminds me so much of Jennifer Garner'

It is really good, but I did get the Alias/Jen Garner vibe. But I love me some Piper, and Annie could definitely be the type of character that takes up residence in my head.

I saw a snippet of it and thought Christopher Gorham looked really hot.

There are so many detective/crime of the week shows starting up right now and even more already on the air.

The fact that we can have 20 versions of the same shit on TV and yet Firefly, Dollhouse, and etc. get cancelled...it's such a fucking shame.

If you want to, the entire Pilot is worth it, it just screams Alias.

See, with that, a series needs to have its own identity. Those shows will always be there.
