I'm guessing you're not a big fan of Thomas from the letter :)
I'm glad that you didn't have House go to jail for years and years, despite Wilson's gloomy prediction, and at least he got to spend the two years working in a hospital of sorts. Interesting that he's learnt to assume a different persona (much like Wilson) when the occassion demands it.
I think this strikes a middle note between utter misery from House, and a reborn type fo nirvana. He's not overly happy, but he's not in total despair, he has a little bit of what he needs. Maybe he might get more in the future. I like that he's pursuing research. And I do like that in the end he's taken one of Wilson's (many, many) little gems of advice and finds its working for him. A nice ending.
Glad you liked it; I hadn't intended any more! As for Thomas; I think he's justified in feeling hacked off, since he's very much on the periphery of these events and sees only Blythe's suffering.
I think the middle ground outcome is the most realistic, if a bit melancholy. I don't see Dominika or Cuddy reappearing to rescue him.
I still find the two last seasons terribly wrong, and I don't think I'll ever cange my mind about it (what for, anyway?) but you did the best with what you have been given. At least he is partly at peace. Good work :)
