Fourteen months of crappy cellular service was enough. I dropped AT&T with ten months still on the contract and returned to Verizon Wireless. It was my experience with AT&T which let me NOT to get an iPhone.
AT&T bought my formerly-cellular-one service -- cell-one had been fantastic -- and suddenly discontinued my text messaging service, kept changing around the terms and night-time hours etc., and kept trying to get me to get a new plan and a new two-year commitment. We had fulfilled our commitment, so we went right to Verizon Wireless and never looked back.
