Having just gotten back from San Francisco a while ago, I needed to get past any emotions that I'd let out earlier; upon getting back, I'd heard that Dick was at the manor and that Bruce was out patrolling.

I knew that Dick would catch up, hence why I decided to look for Bruce solo while at the same time keeping my eyes on anything suspcious. Hearing an explosion a few buildings away from where I was perched at was reason enough to make my way toward that explosion.

At arriving to where said explosion had occurred, I looked around at the flames that greeted me and came across a sight that shocked me to no end-Batman sprawled at the entrance of the burning building, not moving.

"Batman...?!"

Making my way toward my mentor/adopted father, I activated my communicator within my mask, hoping that either Alfred or Dick would respond.

"Anyone there?! I just came across Batman at one of the office buildings near Gotham Harbor; I think he's hurt!"

Ironically enough (or maybe not), Dick had received the message shortly after Alfred had gone into the Bat computer, informing the young man of arson fires. There was no hesitation in his responce. "I'm on my way," he responded.

Fortunately, after suiting up, he found the keys to one of the motorcycles down in the garage. He hit the kick-stand up and revved the engine, taking off in a roar towards the Gotham Harbor. The building was hard to miss; it was kind of hard not to see a building engulfed in flames.

Pulling to a stop, Nightwing parked the bike and hurried over to Tim and Bruce, eyes narrowed with brows furrowed. "Is he okay?"

The vigilante flinched back a little when the building released a burp of flame, glaring hard at the building. "Shit... the building's not going to stay standing for very long. It's on the down the highway of structurally unsound by now. If it gives on one side faster than the other, the rest of the buildings are going to be in deep trouble."

There's no movement from the dark figure at their feet. The beam that lies heavily across his abdomen is a support beam, solid and sturdy. It will undoubtedly take both men to clear the obstruction. From his angle, they're able to determine that he was in fact leaving the building, not entering to search.

In the distance, the sirens of responding fire trucks can be heard.

Sirens...! The Fire Department were on their way, and they would most likely be surprised as any regular civilian if they were to show up and see Batman trapped underneath a support beam!

Eyeing Dick, I made my way to one end of the support beam and saw him come forward opposite me. "We'll have to lift this thing off him on three, throw it away from the fire and get out of here quickly. Ready? One...Two...Three!"
