What's in a name?

Well we are drawing close to release time for the Wii, and the word "revolution" has had more than enough time to leave our skulls. Keeping that in mind, I'd like to re-open for discussion thoughts on the name "Wii" for the new Nintendo console. I know this is a tired topic, but I'm not sure if the name has grown on anyone yet. ive got my wii reservation with:
Extra Wii-mote and Nunchuk
Red Steel

and of course,

Zelda no Densetsu: Towairaito Purinsesu

I got Wii reserved w/zelda.

And playstation has a good enough marketing team to realize who their audience is. Their audience doesn't want a name for a console that doesn't mean anything to them. They give it a generic name because for casual gamers that see a never ending cycle of new console and new console hype for 3 different companies, it's best to get name recognition out there. I like the nintendo wii name. But when I was in line for reservations and ppl asked what we were doing, there was a lot more confusion in me telling them I was reserving a "wii" then there would have been if I said "playstation3"

got a Wii reserved and going to reserve more this wiikend, along with hopefully some ps3's. That's right, i'm getting more. Why? they sell like hell on ebay.

oh, and P.S. xbox Xtreme was the codename for the 360.
