Hey Kiddo,

Thanks for your story and the words of engouragement. It's always great to know that I am not alone in the world. I'm glad that Danny has been able to develop a good group of friends and correspondences. I have no clue what its like being on his side of the gate. Yes, with boot and corps school, I will be pretty occupied. Alas, my dreams of holding him again, are what will be making my rough days there a bit sweeter.

What was your military experience like? I bet Brian is much happier with you out of the Navy. What do you do now at the hospital? Where did you row? What seat?

I spent 24 years in the Navy, and spent nine of them with Marines...I enjoyed my time, and would have stayed in a few more years had they not been planning to send me back to Iraq (twice was enough!) I am an emergency physician, and I currently work in the ER at Balboa

Sorry to be popping in on your personal journal. Before I make introductions, I just wanted to say that I couldn't be happier for you and Danny. He is such a genuine, sincere man and I'm delighted that he's found a person to share his life with.

My name is Tiffany. I met Danny not quite two years ago, via LJ. He and my boyfriend were deployed to Iraq together. Danny also participated in my not-for-profit group that provides friendship and encouragement to overseas military personnel.

Hey there. I am so sorry it has taken me this long to respond. Thanks for the kind words. Danny and I are very happy and I think we consider each other very fortunate to have found one another. You are correct in stating that deployments are hard on people. This is my first (hopefully not of many).
