Just watched Change of Plans, with Joe Flanigan - one of my favorites from Stargate Atlantis - and it was a pleasant surprise. Of course the story of a childless couple suddenly inheriting an international set of 4 children who are dealing with the loss of their parents as well as the culture shock of moving from Uganda to the US - while

Yay! I saw some promo for it. It was sooo 'made for women' where they were asking Joe parenting tips. LOL

I think you're probably right about that. Did you see the beginning, middle or end? What did you think of Brooke White and Flanigan? She's inexperienced, but she wasn't bad, I thought. It was nice to see him in a different kind of role, and while though I don't think it was a great one, I thought he handled it as well as you could hope. I've now seen him in two movies, one which rushed too much into too little time and one in which almost nothing happened.

I do want to see it, but I admit I was kind of eye-rolling over the huge age difference between Joe and Brooke. Do they talk about that at all?

No, I don't remember anything about that; it didn't seem like a problem while I was watching. But he looks pretty young (okay, maybe he just looks good!); they were celebrating their 5th anniversary.

He does look good! He's in his 40's.

Yes, yes he does! I saw a little promo interview, and he does have several sons - one of whom doesn't sleep, which I remember because I was famous as a child for not sleeping, and I still prefer to do my sleeping in the morning rather than at night!
