A lot of people who go to my school are from New York, so it was safe to say when the sine flu showed up in the Empire State there was some cause for alarm. However, those of us who don’t have connections in New York didn’t think too much of it. Ron Paul, who was a freshman senator during a swine flu outbreak in 1976, said Congress voted to inoculate the whole country at the time.

Twenty-five people died from the inoculation while one person was killed by the flu, Paul said, adding that he voted against inoculation.

They gave me 5 days of Tamiflu. It's suppose to "reduce" my symptoms. So far its working great. All that's left is a sore throat.
