LIFE IS SO LIVELY. a really long catching-up post
Wow, it's... been a while since I last posted anything. But so much has happened, I don't know why I've been neglecting the log. So here goes the highlights...
...starting with the end of finals week! The day after I was finished with finals, I was hanging out with my brother watching Lost and Weeds on his computer when my cell phone rings. I pick up and Jason's super hyper and asks me, "HELLOOOOOOOO CHRISTINE VU. HOW ARE YOU DOING ON THIS LOVELY DAY?" Then he asks me if I'm busy, and when I ask him why, he says he's in front of the house with Tim driving around in circles. Omg, I love you so much, you don't even know. What would I ever do without you two? :P Tim drove us to Jason's house (in Jason's car, *cough*) to in theory, wash his car, but we ended up snacking, playing poker, and watching more Lost.

We slept over at Jason's house and watched Lost, snacked, and played card games all fucking night. I really like Durak (?) and Dynamite. Heehee, and I can now say that I've truthfully slept with Lynette. AREN'T YOU JEALOUS.

Hung out at Jason's house afterschool in indecent amounts because his parents left on a business trip. Haha, second semester seniordom rocks my life. We were hardcore playing. HARDCOOOOOREEEE

MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! WAS SO GREAT THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jason is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He came by my first period and gave me balloons, one of which is the most awesome balloon I've ever seen in my life!! When you punch it, it sings "Be Happy"!!!!!! Then I got the most awesome HAND-KNIT HAT FOR MOI from Christine!!!!! I love it so much, thank you darling!!!!! <33333 It's one of my most prized possessions now :3 You could make serious money off of this, no kidding!! And then Amy gave me some sexy stationary, SEX BLEACH POSTER, that pretty pineapple cake we had been eyeing, and THE BEST PART !!!! She finished my rice person table set!! :3 I now have the chopsticks, rice bowl, chopsticks holder, AND CUP of ginsyari-san (the rice thing) !!!!!!! :D San-X is the best, I swear.
Then I had my party, which was like.. all-star blowout. I think my party cost more than a $1000, excluding the 18 diamond bracelet + ring I got from my parents. It was rockin'. Surrounded by friends, good food, ... lasertag ! Presents. I loved EVERYTHANG. I will take pictures and brag about them later :) I <333333333 YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. But I have to point out that Jason is my hero. He made me a really awesome collage of pictures. Thank you.
And the next day was Jason's birthday party of course ! :) He had a joint thing with Priya, so the party was really big. 40 people+? There was delicious Italian dinner and Karaoke~ Near the end of the dinner, Lynette got everyone playing the "Bang" game (what's the actual name for this game?), and then it just spread to all the other tables like wildfire. It was pretty funny :) Karaoke was alright, I've never been a big fan of it to begin with. I still like going to hang out, but in and of itself, it's not very fun. One time, I was talking to my brother about how I go karaoke-ing, and when I said there was no alcohol, he was all flabbergasted. "What! No alcohol! Karaoke is only fun with alcohol! It's like... once you start drinking, you stop reading the words and start making up your own lyrics. [insert ridiculous lyrics]." Yeah, so karaoke just made me really tired, so Simon drove me home. I didn't go to the afterparty, but I heard that was fun!

I've been kinda moody this week, but I blame PMS. This is probably the first time PMS has noticeably (to me) affected me. Like, I don't get cramps or any of that shit, but apparently they make me very emotional and moody and very exhausted. Moving on, this weekend was pretty shazam also. Friday was my girl Kassie's birthday! I went all awwwww when Kassie said, "I'm surrounded by Chris's! It's a dream come true," referring to the fact that her boyfriend Chris was sitting to her left and I was sitting to her right ;). Katie and Shaunak came!! I felt really sad that I had nothing to talk to Katie about though. We've gone in two totally different directions... I got weirder and she got more Christian. Quoting Rustin, "Everytime I wanted to say something to her, it was like... can I say that to her? Is that against her religion or something?" It was awkward. And haha, oh Shaunak. Shaunak, Shaunak, Shaunak. PIZOOKIES! The pizookies were delish.
Then Rustin drove me to Kassie's house, but since he didn't know the way to her new house, we had to follow Selig and Tim. They kept messing with us, like signaling left when they were going to go straight, and constantly changing lanes... I thought I was going to die, haha. Rustin and I completely freaked out when they suddenly moved from the utmost left lane all the way into the highway exit on the right, so we ended up missing the exit and driving a roundabout way back. FF>>>> After getting there, Sonia cameeeeeee , my darlinggggggggg ! Arta did too, but she can kiss my ass. She still irritates me. But is okay, I had like.. minimal contact with her 'cuz she hung out with the weird piano Coldplay people, and the rest of us played football and tag in the streets. Oh! I forgot to mention the present that Jon, Tim, Selig, and Rustin (sorta) got for Kassie. They bought her fruity condoms, and ripped off Jason's collage present with the most hilarious thing ever, omg. Instead of a collage of Kassie pictures, it was a collage of THEM pictures. SJAFLJLKSFD. I won't bother to explain it, but I'll have to ask Kassie for a picture of it later. It's so fucking funny. After it was all over, Rustin drove me home. Flogging Molly!
Saturday is my DOG STORY. In short, my doberman Kobe attacked another dog, so I had to wrestle Kobe to the ground, and somewhere in the process I jammed my finger. It's all ouchy and swollen now :( Then, after taking Kobe home, he was really vicious with Louie... I seriously thought Louie was going to die.
Saturday night was the mixerrrrrr! Went to Lynette's house to get ready and watch Queer as Folk with her, Jason, and Ayumi :] Then was the mixerrrrrr which was okay, I guess. Interesting variety of music, I thought. We left early and watched more Queer as Folk at Lynette's. :) :) :)
Sunday, I went to the Tet Festival! Played lots of games (I totally got gypped out of the duck game. GRR!!), ate food, rode rides, bought things.... No matter how many times I see the dragon dance, I'm always entertained. I derive so much pleasure out of watching them :) It's almost as if they are real!!! At one point, the dragon jumped onto the benches and "ate" the plants!! It was so cute, I died!
And I know this post was really boring, but I have this weird obsession with having to record the things I've done; I think it comes with my pat-rack nature. Anyways, here's a .gif I did today!! Isn't this vending machine hot ?! I'm going to use it in a layout. Mmmm. LAYOUT. :3
I'm inexperienced in doing pixel art, but I'm working on it. I couldn't help thinking about Maniac Mansion when I was working on this...
