I've got less than a week to get out of my apartment on my way to New York, and a lot of furniture still left unclaimed! This includes a dining room table and chairs, a couch, a desk, a great entertainment center, plus some bookshelves and chairs and smaller stuff. And everything is really cheap!

Indeed! Our paths will be crossing in the great North. I'd say I'll fight you for the covers, but who the fuck needs covers when it's 150 degrees outside?

I'm in the last throes of packing here in LA, and after a little jaunt up the west coast, I'll be in NYC on August 8th.

Yes, we should definitely hang out pre-ITP! Give me a call when you get into town, or a few days before if you need a place to crash for awhile. I'd have to consult the roomies, of course, but I'm sure you could stay with us for awhile if need be.

And speaking of scandal, I think I'm going to sign up for that Lemurplex class on MAX...which starts the day after I arrive. It seems a little ambitious to be starting school before, you know, starting school, but it's sort of why we're here, right? Or am I crazy?

Weird - I just noticed we're going to be in Oregon at the same time - I'm in Portland from 8/4-8/8. You'll probably be busy making the rounds, but give me a call if you're feeling bored or need to stress about NYC over coffee...
