I still think the whole Easter holiday is a little ridiculous. No offense to those who celebrate it and take its religious "roots" seriously or anything, but it's sort of hard to buy into the whole Peter Cottontail thing when you understand the pagan origins and all. Still, I hope those of you who are into it had a good one.

Thanks for the egg, ( Read more... )

lonely winchester is lonely, easter greetings, cheer up emo sammy, i'm too smart to enjoy any holiday ever

A year is a long time... But it's not so bad a place to be, sometimes. Are you alright, Sam?

It's not where I should be, so I can't exactly sit back and enjoy a beer or something. Not with a clear conscience, at any rate. But yeah, I'm hanging in there.

What about you?

I've heard time isn't moving back home, so at least you don't have to worry about any trouble back there.

Ah... I have some important things to do back home as well, so I'd like to get back soon. But, I'm doing well here, there are worse places to be.

That doesn't make it feel any less like I'm wasting time, though.

Yeah, I hear you. There are definitely places worse than what we've got going on here.

We could always celebrate the pagan way if that'll make you feel more included.

Considering it usually has to do with orgies, I'll take a pass on that.

Aww Puppy. We could have so much fun if you weren't a stick in the mud.

I've just never been an orgy kind of guy. College was the experimental phase, and that was just in terms of trying out the whole "normal" thing.

You're welcome!

I guess... there's many ways to regard holidays like Easter.

It just depends on tradition, I guess. I don't judge, but it's hard to look at certain things the way most of the world does when you do what I do and know what I know.

Yeah... I hear ya.

I've seen a lot of different ways to do things, and over time.. well, it's amazing how much changes! Especially over the span of a few decades!

Yeah, well... I guess I've lived too long for being in my twenties, then, seeing as how I'm with you on that.

A year?

[Heavy sigh; is this how it's going to be for him, too?]

About a year and three weeks, if you wanted to be specific, yeah. My brother's been here longer than me.

Just great.

I'm guessing you care less about the fact that two random brothers are stuck here than you are about the potential of you being here for that long.

Sorry.

Someone who thinks the same way! Finally! I have no purpose to celebrate Easter. I'm not a religious person. As for disappearences... blame Wonderland. That's what I've been doing for about a week or so now. It doesn't get me anywhere, but it's nice to have something to curse at.

"Religious" is just a funny term, considering that none of the major religions even got their own doctrines and history completely right. And I've been blaming this place ever since the day I first set foot in it.

I don't think we've met, have we? I'm Sam Winchester.

Lol it's actually Rosemarie but xD rebelroses April 6 2010, 04:02:57 UTC
[Rose laughed slightly, nodding]

Oh, I totally agree. I never really got into religion. Lissa tried to get me to goto church because "it's good for me", but she gave up on that quickly. Anyways... I'd rather sleep then goto church in the morning.

But, anyways... It's nice to meet you, Sam. Rose Hathaway.

[She put out her hand, but failed to add in her actual birth name because she thought it sounded like an old timer's name.]

Just don't call him Sammy, and he won't care. :D wayward_sam April 6 2010, 04:44:20 UTC
I like to think of myself more spiritual than religious... but even that's changed, after some of the things I've come across.

[He smiled at her as he returned the greeting.]

Are you new here? Sorry, I've been too focused on the people who've left to notice the new people.
