Wow, I had no idea that people would celebrate Christmas in a place like this. I guess it makes sense; any reason to celebrate is a good one. Still, I'm sorry I wasn't really prepared for the whole thing. Thanks to those of you who gave me something; I appreciate all of the gifts and will wear, eat, or otherwise utilize each and every one, honest.

It seems like the mansion celebrates any modern holiday from the worlds that know of Lewis Carrol.

Thanks you for the present. I'll be sure to do my best with it.

That'd make sense. It just seems a bit weird, seeing something so... traditional in a place that's anything but.

You're welcome. It's the least I could do after what you gave me.

It does weird things at Easter too. It seems to really like the holidays.

It's the least I could do. There are some books on international law there as well. I wasn't sure how interested in it you were though.

I remember I had a flock of stalker bunny rabbits on my tail when I got here in March. I'm guessing I finally uncovered the reason.

I never got the chance to discover my niche, so I appreciate anything and everything that's there. It was really thoughtful of you, Haruhi.

Thanks, Sam!

[Sam gets brightly colored, overly frosted sugar cookies in return, as well as a video game, since like getting his people video games is like his thing to do because I forgot gifts for Sam and Dean ahhhh.]

No problem. One good sugar rush deserves another, right?

Thank you, too. I could always use more distractions.

Well the second part just gives me tingles.

[She sucks really bad at saying thank you]

I ate most of the basket while sitting in the tub.

[And she's still not admitting to the anon gift]

I thought it would.

Yeah, well, the next big candy-giving holiday is Valentine's, so you'll have to wait a bit to restock.

[Yes, he's regretting mentioning the V-word. And yes, he suspects her of being the anonymous gifter. It's a toss-up between her and Castiel, but he doesn't think Castiel likes him enough for that.]

Mmmm are you offering to be my Valentine, Sam? You know the first Valentines Day was a massacre.

[She thought about not mentioning the V-word but she couldn't let that go. She's hoping he'll figure out the gift is from her. He's a smart boy after all.]

me? yes. Sam? wants to claw his eyes out. XD wayward_sam December 28 2009, 06:33:02 UTC
Glad to see you're as sentimental about the holiday as most girls, Ruby. But no, I'm just saying... next major holiday. Unless people tend to give out candy for New Year's or Martin Luther King Day.

I didn't know what to offer that wouldn't seem... weird, considering the circumstances.

I'm an angel, helping the potentially evil brother of Dean Winchester. Weird is relative.

...I didn't get you anything.

Gives an all-new meaning to the term "holy throne." wayward_sam December 29 2009, 04:03:03 UTC
... could you not refer to me as potentially evil? I mean, most people have that potential, right?

Well, I wasn't expecting anything, so I guess that makes us even.

Sam, I...This means a lot. I know you and I don't do the whole Christmas thing, what with us being on the road all the time and Dad ditching us to chase some monster half the time, but it's nice to know you still have some of that Christmas spirit buried deep under the nerdiness.

Consider half the pie and half the beer yours, bro.

Yeah, well... so long as the Christmas spirit doesn't try to eat my innards or anything, it can hang out for a while. What's one day a year, right?

A whole half? Color me shocked.

Don't tempt the fates, man. Do not tempt the fates. Christmas was a Pagan holiday originally. Who knows what sort of gods are lurking in those snowy pine forests? Dun dun duuuuuun.

You act like I never share!

Well, if you ever bothered to do any research on the subject, you might know what sorts of gods are hanging out in the woods. Just sayin', man.

... I think the last time you willingly parted with a piece of pie was when you were twelve. And that's because Dad gave you "the look."
