I smell paint and thinner everywhere having spent the better part of the day helping paint the front door and a few fixtures around the windows of my sister's house. I always thought that Persimmon should be spelled Persimone, it would give the fruit far more grace than the true spelling confers on it (like the name of Demeter's daughter).
Physical labour always brings with it a certain satisfaction and contentment that mental work never seem to give...

Use 'Persephone' instead of 'Demeter's daughter' and almost every male Matrix junkie (and some females) will have visions of Monica Bellucci! But yes, I find persimmone more appealing and used to spell it that way till I looked it up to link to information about it for this post.

All you get over in LV is Quinces, quite literally in every garden...like the invasion of Cox apple trees in Suburban London...
