Ouch. It feels realistic that Hank with his issues about his secondary mutation would subconsciously or consciously wonder whether it wasn't perverse for Abigail to want him. Just as it makes sense that she wouldn't have any experience in the slow courtship, let's be friends first approach, with her honesty coming across wrongly to him. Can't wait for the next chapter?

Thanks, I definitely put in a lot of thought about the implications of an attraction between the two before I started. To be honest I think that canonically Hank probably recognized that she's the best he'll ever get and invited her over to crack open a bottle of wine and let nature take its course. It's so much more fun to torture them, though.
