When did ear buds become as popular as it has become?? i mean, holy shit-- I go looking for some headphones for my MP3 player and it's fuckin' ear buds akimbo. Is it because they are discret?? Is it because the aren't as bulky as headphones?? Is it because they're conveniently storable?? I mean really-- tell me, because I'll never have a clue

I hear you on the ear buds. My ears are just too small to fit ear buds. And now the other new trend is head phones that just hand around the ear like a blue tooth headset. Whatever happened to simple headphones?
