There are days I hate the rain and days I love the rain. I hate when it's dark and dreary out, but when the sun is shining and there is a light rain? That I love.
I also love thunderstorms and when it's down-pouring during one, just as long as I'm inside the house.
I like rain when it is part of a violent storm. Storms are my favorite type of weather. It isn't the rain itself that excites me about storms, but in the midst of thunder and lightning and strong wind I don't mind the rain.
I also like rain on days when I am confined to the house anyway (sick, on my period, etc) because it makes me feel more justified in staying home and like I'm not *missing anything.* It also lends an atmosphere to the day that helps me relax and take it easy.
I don't like rain on workdays when I commute by bike or on foot. It complicates the process of getting ready (What can I wear to keep dry, or that won't be horribly uncomfortable or sloppy if I get wet?) and, like you said, just seems to slow things down. Plus I'm irritable when I get wet not by choice. I don't really mind getting outright soaked on the way home, but getting all wet and messed up before I even start the important part of my day doesn't put me in a great mood

it depends on my mood, and what i have to do while it's raining. i don't mind driving in it, but if it's raining hard and it's dark out and the lines on the roads are nowhere to be found, i don't like that. and if i have to commute to school or work and be out in the rain for a long period of time, and get soaked, i don't like it.
it really depends what's going on that particular day, if it's something important, the rain hinders it. if nothing special is happening, i don't mind it too much.
