Can it be disproved that we are all not just brain in vats and that there is no such thing as life as we know it

We talked about this in my freshman philosophy class and I forgot what the argument against it was, but I'm sure there was one. I'm not particularly concerned either way. So long as it feels like reality to me, I'm going to treat it that way, because the perception of my experience is the only thing I know or will know, until my consciousness is exhausted.

Whack your nadgers with a hammer. Then you'll find out if you're just a brain in a jar.

After reading that lack of punctuation and the lack of the plural from of 'brain', and this in a sentence designed to provoke existential thought, all I can say is this: I'm not quite sure you can count to potato.
