You're breaking up!

What's the worst way you've broken up with someone or been broken up with? (Phone call, text, e-mail, never hearing back from them, their mom does it for them, etc....)

break-ups, relationships

My first boyfriend broke up with me on my birthday. Through an inbox message on fb, for reasons that he's never actually told me. The second couldn't hack the 'distance' and did the honours through text and msn. I say 'distance' because we went to different schools and he lived on the other side of the city. Smallish city mind.

Yeah. Great guys (Y)

Text message and then never hearing from them again!

And another one - I'd gone to spend the night at my mothers, and was expecting my gf to come pick me up the next day and she never turned up. I finally got hold of her, having her phone turned off for days, and got the news over the phone that she wasn't coming to pick me up - permanently.

Apparently I've dated some really mature people :P

Having the police physically restrain him while he was screaming that he would kill me in the foyer of the Police Station after 18 months of Domestic Violence.

I think that qualifies as my worst break-up.

Second worst was him walking out of my house without a single word after I told him, in tears, that I was 22 weeks pregnant (and then miscarrying eight hours later from the stress and ending up in the ER with an incomplete miscarriage, surgery and a uterine infection). I still don't know to this day if his sister told him I had miscarried, or if he thinks he has a 19 year old child out there somewhere :/

Third worst was me taking everything I owned prior to our relationship (so I didn't take anything we'd bought jointly. Not even my beloved cat) and leaving while he was at work. He later told me he didn't have a clue anything was wrong (despite me being a crying wreck every time he forced himself on me)...

Yep, I've had some doozies.
