Recovering

Hello all! I finally feel up to posting again. It's been a rough couple of weeks, but things are improving.

Under a cut to avoid a huge post on the f-list )

Wow that sounds like a pretty bad experience. But at least you appear to have gotten excellent care this time. Good thing you got the mesh out of there, I am very glad you didn't wait. Now try to take it easy and drink lots of green tea.

On the BNF, because they have no or little power elsewhere in their life.

I've got a delicious chai that I've been drinking. The ginger and cinnamon are marvelous!

It was definitely an experience I don't want to repeat, but the care was much improved. I feel like I am healing much quicker because of it.

And to me, the love of family and friends is far more important than trying to impress people in fandom any day.

Glad to hear the surgery seems to have gone well. *hugs*

BNF's are why I steer clear of fandom these days.

Thanks, Koly - I'm really pleased with the way my recovery is going this time. And you're very smart to steer clear of fandom.

Although it sounds like an unpleasant and painful time, it's great to hear that you got good care this time and your recovery is going well. Keep taking things easy {{hugs}}

(I don't know what a BNF is *blushes* )

Thanks, hydref. I'm trying to take it easy as much as I can.

BNF = Big Name in Fandom. :)

It's good to hear they took better care of you this time! Good thing you got the mesh taken care of too:/

I've been away from fandom for so long I hardly remember what BNF means anymore... but I do remember a few from my early days *shudder* What a sad, sad life it must be!

It really was a difference in care. I'm very glad I changed doctors and had this taken care of.

I should just back away from fandom - friend-dom is much better!
