Can't stand ferrets myself, nasty little bastards. They're better than mice or especially rats by a long shot, but they're still rodents. My brother used to have one when I was a kid, and he always raised his pets to have a mean streak in them. Combine that with the already frightening image of an albino ferret (you know the nightmares people have about a pair of glowing red eyes staring at them from the dark in the wee hours of the night? I lived that countless times.) and you've got the perfect recipe for therapy 10 years down the road.
I wouldn't think a rodent and a feline would usually make good bunk-mates, but then I'm far from an expert on these matters; maybe they could learn to get along. As much as I hate rodents even I have to admit that's an impossibly cute little bugger.
